Tomorrow is the official first day of Summer! We are excited as this is our favorite time of year.
There are so many wonderful attractions and activities to take part in at this time.
Some of our favorite things to do are:
Enjoying Beach time: Come to the Beachtowns of Lake Michigan and play a round of championship golf, charter a fishing boat, stroll through award-winning wineries and discover America’s maritime history. It’s time to hang the “Gone Fishing” sign on your door. Walk hand in hand along one of the most serene and spectacular coastlines in America. Run your toes through the sand and build more than just sandcastles with your kids. It’s time to be a kid again.
Baseball: See a game at Comerica Park! Home to the “Detroit Tigers” baseball team. Fans can walk down memory lane each time they visit Comerica Park’s “Walking Hall of Fame,” stretching around the park’s lower concourse with a larger-than-life collection of memorabilia, photos, and great Tiger baseball moments.
Discover Detroit: found nowhere else in the world, great sports and vibrant downtown add up to days and nights of fun and excitement. Enjoy morning strolls along the Detroit River or walk among the vibrant colors and fresh scents of a bustling open air market, or immerse yourself in a world class museum. And whether it’s a sizzling night of dancing or a cool, mellowed night of jazz, Detroit’s mornings and afternoons are just as exciting as its nights!Detroit’s casinos provide another entertainment option-only this one is open every day around the clock, making every morning, noon or night a great time to visit! Located in three distinct regions of downtown, the casinos add a bit of Vegas glam to the landscape. So try your luck and spin, toss or deal your way to riches and have a bit of fun along the way!
Enjoy Frankenmuth MI: It’s our “Little Bavaria”! With over 30 different attractions there is something to do for the young and the young at heart, including: indoor water parks, a family fun center, mirror maze, space museum, brewery tours, golf, horse-drawn carriage rides, narrated river boat cruises and Aqua Cycles. Frankenmuth has also gained acclaim for its craft beer breweries, outdoor dining, pizzas and Bavarian Style Sweets. Eat, Drink and Be Merry in Frankenmuth. “Wilkommen”!
